Hi and I hope everyone is doing great on this Friday. I know most students are off for Spring Break and certainly if you were in MS, temperatures has not been a disappointing factor. We've been having a quiet week concerning active weather. Conditions have been just fine with temperatures in the 70s and a nice southerly breeze. With that being said, conditions are going to continue to stay very warm and nice throughout the weekend.

What's Happening Atmospherically
High pressure continues to maintain control over the southeast which is allowing for sunny and warm conditions. Even for today and with the upcoming weekend, temperatures are expected to be very warm and into or near the 80s. Now a weak frontal boundary should move in by early morning of tomorrow but it'll only serve to bring in clouds in the area. Most of the rain associated with this front will stay up north. So this weekend looks to be a sunny yet rain-free weekend which is good news for most people.

Weekend Forecast

Temperatures near or at 80 degrees throughout the weekend with sunny conditions. Don't let the morning clouds fool you Saturday into thinking rain for the day. We should be rain-free through the weekend. If you love to fish, play tennis or basketball, eating lunch outside, family reunions, or any outdoor event would be absolutely perfect this weekend.
