Currently
Good afternoon everyone and welcome to your Monday edition of your Face of the Sky forecast. Another warm and sunny day again with temperatures in the upper 70s at this current moment and we are only in the beginning hours of the afternoon. It's going to be a very humid day as well with dewpoints continuing to rise. Don't expect any rain today though. Winds out of the south are keeping temperatures quite warm for us.

What's Happening Atmospherically
Lots of warm air advection in the southern region being shown by 850mb. With high pressure being southeast of us, this is really going to allow for plenty of warm air to flow from the Gulf of Mexico allowing for temperatures to be well above normal around this time of year. With this warm and moist airmass in place, we will see temperatures in the mid 80s for the first part of the week. We will soon begin to see changes in our weather as a cold front swings by on Wednesday bringing a round of showers and thunderstorms as well as cooler conditions.

Today
We had a deck of low stratus clouds this morning but most of the clouds has cleared up leaving nothing but clear and sunny skies. With warm moist air coming from the Gulf, it will make for a rather humid day with highs in the mid 80s.
Even by tonight, lows will only fall to the upper 50s making for quite a warm night. It may be time to break out the air conditioner or fan as tonight makes for a warm night. Winds still out of the south at 5mph.

Tuesday outlook
Tuesday will look similiar to today with maybe a few more clouds in the sky making for a mostly sunny day. You can expect highs to be in the 80s once again. Your next chance of showers should come by Wednesday evening. Thanks for viewing your Face of the Sky forecast! Have a great day and God bless!
