Hurricane Danielle has made an appearance in our 2010 hurricane season becoming our 2nd hurricane to form. It has wind speeds of 75 mph with a pressure of 987mb moving WNW at 17mph. It is expected to gain strength in the next few days and by Thursday could be at a Category 3. For right now, forecast models only has it staying mostly in the Atlantic. Right now, eastern coastal states should not be worried. This will not have an impact here on the South. We do have another tropical disturbance right behind it and will likely become something to focused. Stay tuned as I continue to update on the latest and for more go to www. stormpulse. com. God bless!

I Miss My Blog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

~Starkville, MS

Hi everyone! Wowww!! It has certainly been a long time since I wrote anything on my blog. I hope all is well with all of you! I certainly miss updating you guys on the weather and communicating. Its been a fairly busy summer for me. I believe the last update from me was on June 30 concerning then Hurricane Alex. It didn't put up much fight as I had hope it would and we've pretty much have had a quiet summer for the mean time as far as tropical disturbances go. However, that will certainly change as we head into the latter parts of August and into September.

I really wanted to update and talked about the weather with you all but like I said this summer has been very busy. Also, what really limited me to writing my blog was the use of internet access. I currently do not have internet at my apartment and I find it a struggle trying to write my weather blog at other times which are very inconvenient for me. Also, I was finishing up my last class in July which was Physics II. Yeah!!lol So, definitely all of my time and efforts went to that class as well as working my two summer jobs.

Now, things have slowed down just a little. I finished my undergrad at MSU in broadcast meteorology! I am now an official meteorologist!lol Right now, I am still working in Starkville at Skate Odyssey. (If your in the Starkville area, come skate sometime!) I am in the process of receiving my resume tapes, so once they finally get in I can then begin to send those out to different tv stations. Please continue to pray for me as I have no clue where I will end up at. Honestly, I feel very clueless as to what is going to happen in the next year or so. Of course, I want to be a meteorologist but I just don't know where I will end up at or living. I don't even know who will give me chance. It is exciting but scary in a sense especially not knowing the next move. The transition from high school to college was a very one due to knowing what college I wanted to attend and how I would get there. Now, this transition to the real world is different. Though different, the process is and always will be the same. I have to trust in God! The process always starts there first. I only know that God has great things in store for me! He knows the plans for my life, so basically I'm staying focused on him and wherever he takes me I will surely follow. For those of you who are in the same circumstance, I encouraged you to seek after the Lord. Things may seem unfavorable for you right now but in due time God will change you predicament into a favorable one. Everything will be alright but continue to seek him! Remember Matt. 6:33 and Prov. 3:5-6

Well, that is what I've been up to. I still will not be able to update my blog on a consistent basis but I'm just happy to have this chance now. I will do my best to update you on upcoming weather. Speaking of upcoming weather, we have another tropical disturbance in the Atlantic right now. Her name is Hurricane Danielle but it doesn't look like it will impact us. There is, however, another low pressure wave behind which will likely end up evolving into something. I will definitely keep you posted. In the meantime, I will try to post my resume video on here so that you all can view it. Please continue to pray for me as God continues to lead me to higher heights, greater things, and many more blessings! God bless!
