10:30p.m.-Heavy snow conditions have fallen in the northern counties above Interstate 20 in which you have all the right type of conditions and temperatures to produce adequate snow. I've already heard reports of 3" inches of snow in Starkville, MS so far. They still have another hour or two to accumulate more.
I don't have an amount yet here around the Jackson area but we only had mixing of snow and sleet which translate to minimal accumulations for some areas and for some more. The dangerous part about it is the accumulation of ice, so again please be careful if you really have to travel tonight.
