~Starkville, MS

A very bright and sunny morning to start your Tuesday off with the cold air still lingering here in the south. It is still quite nippy outside with cold air still flowing from the north to give us that Arctic feel. However, just seeing those clear skies outside just gives you hope for warmer weather ahead for some of you who would like for it to be warmer. High pressure will continue to remain here in the south allowing for clear skies and an ample supply of sunshine for today. The high will struggle to get to the 40 degree mark with 38 being the high for today. The wind chill factor still plays a heavy part in that the high will be 38 but it'll feel more like 28 degrees outside. Northerly flow will continue to keep things rather cool for us coming at us at about 5 to 10 mph.

For tonight, another cool night in store for us once again as lows dips down to the lower 20s. A clear night will allow for you to check out some stars tonight if your outside with winds out of the north a 5 mph. Again, it will feel much cooler than the lower 20s when you add in the wind chill factor.

Tomorrow, will look similiar to today with clear skies being the highlight for tomorrow but with warmer temperatures. Looking ahead to Thursday and Friday, temperatures seems like they are trying to get back to its normal around this time of year with the mid 50s being forecasted as the highs. I'll continue to update you on this warming trend, so be sure to keep it here. Thanks for viewing your Face of the Sky weather blog forecast and God bless!
