~Starkville, MS

A good Monday to you! I hope everyone had a great weekend despite an active weekend which started on Friday with continuously pouring rain and cold conditions. By Sunday, though, temperatures and weather conditions began to feel more seasonable. Drier air has settle back into the region once more due because of high pressure back in place in the southeast. Throughout the early mornings of today we'll mainly see clear skies, but clouds will be increasing throughout day because of a disturbance south of us.

This disturbance we have is basically just a weak front pushing off to the east. It will mostly stay south of here with most of the rain staying south as well. This system will however bring a lot of clouds in our viewing area but our chances of rain will only be slim. If we do receive any rain, it will only be light. So, for today look for highs to be near the mid 50s with clear skies in the morning hours and increasing throughout the day. By later this afternoon, we'll see mostly cloudy conditions with a very light chance of rain if we do receive rain. Tonight, looks to be cloudy with low around the mid to upper 30s. Winds will be out of the northwest at 5mph.

By Tuesday, the day will start off cloudy for us but we will end up seeing clearer skies and a much warmer temperature. This has been your Face of the Sky forecast. Stay tune for a forecasting show which will be posted later. Come back tomorrow and God bless!
